Senior Solution Architect (Germany)

In this role you partner with Customer Success Engineers and Account Executives to advance security-focused outcomes across the Veeam Data Platform. You will lead readiness checks, data modeling, and risk conversations with CISO/CIO stakeholders, while monitoring the DRMM maturity and telemetry to optimize posture. Your work spans architecture discussions, solution designs, and de-risking adoption to accelerate value delivery. You will identify expansion opportunities and influence roadmap priorities through cross-functional collaboration. This role offers exposure to large enterprise accounts and a mission-driven environment shaping data security and AI risk management at scale.

• Engage customers on security-related products, architectures, and risk topics across the VDP
• Run readiness checks and lead data modeling to validate solution design
• Monitor attack surfaces, vulnerabilities, telemetry signals, and DRMM scoring; report trends
• Validate designs to de-risk adoption and speed time to value
• Identify expansion opportunities and review consumption trends with/without AE coordination
• Engage CISO/CIO stakeholders for risk, status, and opportunities; synthesize inputs from QBRs
• Support AEs on security- and AI-driven expansion motions; influence roadmap priorities with CSEs
• Operate as a pooled resource across Enterprise and Commercial-Named accounts (roughly $100K+ ARR)
• Note: Not primary owner for onboarding or renewals

• 5+ years in engineering architecture for cybersecurity-related products
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
• Expertise in data security and governance (DSPM/DLP); familiarity with AI/ML architectures
• Ability to engage CISO/CIO stakeholders on risk and modernization roadmaps
• Hands-on experience with solution design, POCs, telemetry monitoring, and maturity modeling (DRMM familiarity a plus)
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• VMCE certification (can be completed after joining)
