Senior Solutions Architect

As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect at MongoDB, you guide customers to design reliable, scalable data platforms using our technology. You’ll partner with sales to win deals, advise on architecture, and help customers successfully deploy and operate MongoDB-based solutions. This remote role in Germany places you at the center of cross-functional collaboration with startups to large enterprises. You will shape technical outcomes and customer value through hands-on design and demonstrations.

• Design scalable, performant applications and infrastructure leveraging MongoDB for large projects
• Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimization, communicating business value
• Partner with sales to drive account strategy, discovery, demos, POCs, and documentation
• Proactively generate demand and participate in events and ABM activities
• Foster customer relationships, cultivate champions, and ensure customer success
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and share field feedback with product teams
• Stay current on MongoDB product suite and industry trends through ongoing training

• 8–11 years in a customer-facing role, with 5–7 years in pre-sales for enterprise software
• Minimum 3 years experience with modern scripting languages (Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or languages like Java/C#/C/C++
• Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem
• Ability to review complex architectures with customers and suggest improvements using technology
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to convey technical and business concepts to leadership
• Ability to strategize with sales teams and align MongoDB ecosystem resources to account plans
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
