Senior Solutions Architect - Power & Utilities - Amazon

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end AWS solutions for power and utilities clients, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
• Lead technical workshops and design reviews, translating business requirements into robust cloud architectures.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and customer teams to develop tailored roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Mentor and coach cross‑functional teams on best practices for cloud migration, integration, and operational excellence.
• Advise on emerging technologies (IoT, edge computing, AI/ML) to enhance grid operations and customer value.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cloud solution architecture, with deep expertise in AWS services.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale projects in the power and utilities sector.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands‑on experience with IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, or equivalent) preferred.
