Senior Specialist SAP Application BI Global (m/f/d)

Where we need you

• Ensure stable and reliable operation of the SAP BW/BI landscape through proactive monitoring.
• Analyze incidents, perform root cause analyses, and resolve system issues.
• Maintain data accuracy and timeliness by overseeing data loads, transformations, and housekeeping.
• Create analytical stories and support the transition to SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP DataSphere.
• Provide 2nd-level support to business users, including SAP BPC troubleshooting.
• Support SAP BI initiatives and S/4HANA transformation projects within the global SAP Competence Center.
• Coordinate and collaborate with external consultants and partners.
• Independently analyze and implement change requests with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Degree or comparable qualification in IT, (business) informatics, or business administration.
• 5+ years of strong experience in SAP BW/BI, including process chain monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP DataSphere with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of diligence, precision, and quality focus.
• Ability to work independently in incident management and implement changes end‑to‑end.
• Proven experience collaborating with external consultants and IT service partners; initial project management experience is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English (minimum B2) and willingness to travel.
