Senior / Staff Fullstack Developer – Authentication & Profile

• own and evolve the technical foundation of our Authentication & Profile domain across account creation, login, registration, single sign-on, profile data, and secure access to user information
• design, build, and operate scalable full-stack services that enable millions of users to access our brand products and premium content reliably across all channels
• shape the future of our identity platform by improving security, user experience, performance, and maintainability across authentication and profile-related services
• challenge existing systems and drive well-founded improvements that reduce complexity, increase reliability, strengthen data security, or unlock better product and business outcomes
• work closely with product, engineering, security, data, and business stakeholders to turn authentication, profile, and user data requirements into pragmatic technical solutions
• design and improve APIs, service architectures, frontend integrations, and data access patterns used by internal services across our multi-brand ecosystem
• build and operate cloud-native infrastructure on AWS with serverless architectures, CI/CD, observability, infrastructure automation, strong production ownership, and hands-on mentoring

Was du mitbringst:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in full-stack development, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures
• strong hands-on production experience with Java as a primary language, ideally combined with TypeScript and modern web technologies
• deep experience building and operating scalable applications on AWS, particularly with AWS Lambda, serverless architectures, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure automation
• solid understanding of modern software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, security, resilience, and high-availability web applications
• experience with authentication, identity, single sign-on, user profiles, secure data access, privacy, or security-sensitive product domains
• strong ability to work across the stack, including backend services, frontend integrations, and the user-facing flows that connect them
• pragmatic, analytical mindset with strong English and German communication skills, confident AI tool usage, and curiosity for technologies such as Go or Rust where they add value
