Senior System Engineer - SAP Supply Chain Management

In this role you drive SAP-based supply chain initiatives on a global scale, combining ERP and IBP expertise with cloud, AI, and automation to deliver impactful IT solutions. You will bridge development and business teams, shaping requirements and guiding end-to-end delivery from design to deployment. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to improve processes and support, contributing to a modern, data-driven IT landscape. This is a hands-on, collaborative role at the intersection of tech and supply chain excellence.

• Plan and design technical solutions and architecture for SAP platforms
• Lead implementation, qualification, and handover to operations
• Bridge development and business teams to refine requirements for projects
• Develop concepts for software solutions and expand technical expertise
• Support integration and developer tests and document software artifacts
• Provide 3rd level support with external partners to ensure smooth collaboration
• Harmonize, simplify, and automate IT services and processes
• Maintain and continuously improve processes and systems throughout their lifecycle on SAP platform solutions

• Degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification
• Experience as IT/SAP professional with SAP IBP exposure
• Several years of IT experience with SAP development, enhancements, configuration for SAP ERP S/4HANA
• Hands-on experience with SAP development tools and technologies
• Strong analytical mindset for complex IT landscapes and global process integration
• Proficiency in ABAP and SQL
• Experience with cloud-based data integration and interest in AI, RPA, data analytics
• Familiarity with JIRA and ServiceNow is a plus
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
