Senior Tax Expert

Our client is looking for a Senior Tax Expert to join their tax function, focusing on product taxation and tax operations. You'll be the go-to source of tax expertise across the organisation - the central point of contact for product tax matters, staying ahead of legislative change and ensuring product-level compliance through close oversight of external advisors.

What you'll do:

• Act as the go-to contact for product tax matters, engaging with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
• Track tax legislation changes and assess their impact on the business and its products.
• Lead the rollout of tax-related changes across relevant operations, coordinating with external providers as needed.
• Maintain product-level tax compliance by overseeing external tax advisors and service providers.

What you'll bring:

• Qualified tax advisor (Steuerberater or equivalent).
• Degree-level education or equivalent.
• Around 5–6 years in a consulting environment with relevant sector knowledge.
• Understanding of end-to-end business processes and related tax considerations.
• Experience leading projects with a tax focus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator with stakeholder management experience.
• Background overseeing external providers.
