Your Mission as Senior Tax Manager

As Senior Tax Manager, you will shape and develop Viessmann’s tax function, ensuring compliance while driving strategic tax planning in an evolving global landscape. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, optimizing corporate income tax (domestic and international), BEPS Pillar II, VAT, and transfer pricing.

What Your Day Looks Like

Manage corporate income tax compliance for German entities, coordinating tax return procedures with external advisors.
Serve as first point of contact for tax audits of German entities.
Support tax reporting (current and deferred), working closely with finance.
Address VAT and real‑estate related tax topics.
Handle transfer‑pricing matters such as Master File, CbCR, and local files.
Implement and monitor BEPS Pillar II requirements, staying ahead of regulatory changes.
Coordinate external tax advisors.
Assess and implement process improvements via digitalisation and automation.
Educate internal teams to embed tax awareness in decisions.

What You Bring

Degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, or Law with extensive experience in international and German taxation.
Certification as a German tax advisor.
Proven expertise in corporate income tax (current and deferred), BEPS Pillar II, VAT, and international tax including transfer pricing; ideally in a multinational or Big 4 environment.
Experience managing complex tax audits and interacting with tax authorities.
Strong understanding of global tax trends and regulatory changes.
Proficiency in tax reporting tools and passion for digital solutions.
Fluency in German (C1) and English (C1).
