Overview

In this role you own the deep-tech slice of SIXT’s Revenue Management portfolio, owning one or two products with full direction and priority setting. You partner with engineers and business stakeholders to translate needs into buildable solutions, focusing on pricing logic, automated decisioning, and agentic tooling. You define what 'working' means for systems that may be emergent, verify it through behavior, and decide when it’s ready to ship. You shape AI usage within the product and balance autonomy with human in the loop, driving innovation with business impact.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Own the deep-tech portion of one or two products, including scope, direction, and stop criteria
Define correctness and verification for systems where behavior is the measure, not readable code
Set boundaries for AI automation within products and determine autonomy vs human-in-the-loop
Collaborate with engineers on feasibility, architecture, and trade-offs; co-own ADRs
Identify and translate business needs into durable technical solutions; drive innovation with the business
Make hard calls that keep systems moving and aligned with strategic goals

Zentrale Anforderungen

Engineering depth and fluency with codebase; trusted judgment near critical paths
Experience with AI-enabled workflows and evaluating LLM-based and agentic systems
Track record of making decisive calls and handling stakeholder pushback
Solid grasp of distributed systems, APIs, service boundaries, and data-intensive architectures
Ability to use data to prioritize, measure success, and justify scope cuts
Proven ability to write decision-focused scope documents or ADRs
