Senior Transformation & Performance Manager

Role Overview
Springer Nature Health, a leading global medical information and education provider, is pursuing an ambitious growth and transformation agenda—including a significant AI agenda—and is investing in people and structures to deliver it. The Senior Transformation & Performance Manager will help turn this agenda into disciplined execution, keeping a complex portfolio of initiatives on track and contributing to one of the most significant change efforts in the business. You will report to the Head of Strategy & Transformation and work closely with senior leaders across Springer Nature and Springer Nature Health.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth and transformation initiatives across the programme’s core areas: AI, strategy, go-to-market, product and business model, performance, and people.
- Translate strategy into execution—building and maintaining delivery plans, milestones, critical‑path tracking, and decision logs that keep initiatives moving.
- Support the Transformation Office in maintaining execution discipline, governance cadence, and prioritisation across workstreams.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams, holding workstreams accountable to outcomes and timelines and proactively unblocking issues.
- Prepare executive‑ and board‑level materials—decks, updates, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Bring AI fluency to the work, with a clear understanding of how AI is reshaping products, workflows, and business models.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrable experience, ideally combining business consulting with in‑house strategy or transformation work.
- A proven track record of working directly with senior management and C‑level stakeholders.
- Strong command of transformation, strategy and execution—equally comfortable with the slide and the spreadsheet, the vision, the people and the operational detail.
- Exceptional communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
- A structured, hands‑on, self‑directed working style, with the ability to thrive amid ambiguity and pace.
- Genuine interest in healthcare, life sciences, and AI.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong change management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bring people along through complex organisational change.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary and international teams across different markets and cultures.
Desirable
- Fluent in German or Dutch.
- Healthcare, life science and AI sector experience.
