Senior UX/UI Designer (f/m/x)

The UX/UI Design team shapes and develops key areas of the DOUGLAS e-commerce platform and its associated touchpoints - with a strong focus on user-centricity and a mobile-first approach.

We are looking for you to join UX/UI Managers, User Researchers, Product Owners and Developers in creating an outstanding look & feel and intuitive usability for our customers. In this role, you bring your expertise from the very first idea through to the final prototype and actively contribute to the ongoing development of our design system. TASKS WITH IMPACT

• You work closely with the UX/UI team and internal stakeholders to understand user needs and business requirements, translating them into valuable insights for design concepts


• Contributing actively to the ongoing development of our design system, you discuss new ideas and customisation requests with the team, always keeping the scalability of your ideas in focus


• Figma, design systems and AI-based design tools are areas where you bring solid, hands-on experience

YOUR SKILLS

• You hold a degree in UX Design, a vocational qualification as a media designer, or a comparable qualification


• Solid experience on the corporate or agency side within an e-commerce environment is something you bring to the table


• Figma and design systems are tools you use with confidence and expertise


• Working in agile teams is something you're familiar with


• Analytically, you approach complex design challenges and translate them into well-founded, user-centred solutions


• Ideally, you already have some experience guiding junior designers


• Fluent in both German and English, you communicate confidently in a professional context
