SEO / GEO Manager – Online Marketing

Your mission at morefire — SEO, GEO Strategy & Consulting: Together with your clients you develop tailored SEO and GEO strategies and advise them on the sustainable growth of their organic visibility as well as their visibility in AI-powered search systems.
AI search & testing: You analyze the visibility of brands and content in AI-powered search systems, develop structured test and prompt sets, and derive concrete optimization measures.
Technical SEO: You analyze websites, identify technical optimization opportunities and provide concrete recommendations for action.
Content & GEO: You further develop content strategies and optimize content for classic search engines as well as AI-powered search systems.
Brand and entity optimization: You strengthen the digital distinctiveness, authority and trustworthiness of companies, brands, products and expertise beyond the website and relevant external sources.
Analysis & monitoring: You conduct market, competitor and SEO analyses, monitor trends and identify new opportunities early.
Implementation: You plan, coordinate and accompany the implementation of relevant SEO and GEO measures for your clients.
Interdisciplinary collaboration: Together with colleagues from various online marketing disciplines you develop cross-channel strategies.
Knowledge sharing: You pass on your SEO and GEO know-how in workshops, trainings and in exchanges with clients and colleagues.

Requirements

SEO, GEO & AI search: You have experience in SEO and know the key ranking factors as well as current developments in the GEO field.
Entity, brand & off-page understanding: You understand how brand authority, consistent entity signals, mentions, digital PR and trustworthy third‑party sources influence discoverability in traditional and AI-powered search systems.
Technical understanding: You work confidently with common SEO tools such as Sistrix, Ahrefs or Screaming Frog and have a solid understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Experience with LLMs: You are familiar with ChatGPT, Claude, Google’s AI mode and other large language models.
Testing competence: You work hypothesis-driven and can evaluate changes across different search systems, topic clusters and timeframes in a structured way.
Client orientation: You recognise your clients' individual challenges and develop sustainable solutions that deliver real added value.
Autonomy & curiosity: You independently familiarise yourself with new topics, routinely use research and AI tools as support and follow new developments in SEO, GEO and AI with genuine interest.
Communication: You explain even complex technical topics clearly and communicate confidently in German and English with C-level stakeholders.
