Location: Germany (travel across BeNeLux, DACH & DK)

Work Mode: Onsite with travel (or in Service Centre Nederweert)

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites and work on market‑leading Weir Minerals equipment in real‑world conditions.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, becoming their go‑to technical advisor.
• Make a visible difference by ensuring reliability, performance and uptime for critical operations.
• Execute diagnostic, repair and installation activities using advanced tools such as laser alignment, vibration analysis and digital measurement technologies.
• Capture customer insights from field experiences to improve service processes and product reliability, sharing feedback with engineering teams.
• Lead installation and commissioning of new Weir equipment on customer sites, ensuring that they meet the agreed performance standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams on digital service initiatives, supporting the rollout of Weir’s NEXT solutions (smart sensors, predictive monitoring).
• Demonstrate 100 % commitment to zero‑harm behaviours and contribute to a world‑class safety culture.

Job Knowledge, Education and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a field service or maintenance engineering role.
• Recognised technical or mechanical education or equivalent proven expertise.
• Strong customer‑service mindset and ability to build long‑term relationships.
• Fluency in German is a must; good English skills (spoken and written) are highly preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and experience with CRM systems (SAP, FSM, Salesforce or similar).
• Adaptability in field conditions: work effectively in diverse environments, remote sites, harsh climates and varying operational setups while maintaining professionalism.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites across BeNeLux, DACH & DK regions, sometimes on short notice, to deliver technical expertise for consecutive days when required.
