Overview

In this role you help shape automation in underwriting for our Insurance-Linked Securities team in Hannover. You will build underwriting expertise while driving process automation and scalable IT solutions. You address end-to-end process optimization and collaborate with business and IT to implement efficient, compliant improvements. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to influence contract and fund structures and accelerate transformation.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Gradually build underwriting expertise within the team
Analyse reinsurance contracts, track premium payments and monitor claims
Communicate with external business partners on a regular basis
Review and further develop underwriting processes with a focus on automation and long-term efficiency
Identify automation opportunities, define technical requirements and implement solutions with stakeholders
Collaborate with IT to design scalable applications and continuously improve existing solutions
Optimize end-to-end processes, from data preparation to workflow automation

Zentrale Anforderungen

Master in Business Informatics or Master in Business Administration with IT/data/process optimisation focus
Several years of experience in process automation, digitalisation or technical optimisation
Strong interest in analysing processes and implementing technical solutions (automation, workflow design, interfaces)
Ability to structure business requirements and facilitate collaboration between business teams and IT
Initial experience with underwriting, insurance or financial processes is a plus
Fluent English and at least conversational German, with respectful communication
Open to feedback and eager to develop skills in a dynamic environment
