Software Developer Cyber Secure Marine Applications (m/f/d)

In this role you design and implement automated marine automation solutions, partnering with suppliers to ensure secure, reliable systems. You will develop embedded software and PLC programs, craft software requirements, and shape architectures while applying functional safety standards. You drive integration of software with hardware and work across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, cyber-secure diagnostics for marine environments. • Design and implement automated solutions with suppliers for cyber-secure marine automation
• Develop embedded software and PLC programs; create software requirement specifications
• Design and implement complex software architectures; re-engineer and integrate modules with hardware
• Apply functional safety standards (IEC61508) in the development process
• Collaborate with key suppliers to ensure seamless operations

• Diploma or Bachelor/Master in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Automation Engineering with relevant software development experience
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IEC 61508 standards
• Experience in software modelling (UML/OO) and programming in C, C++, PLC (IEC61131-3)
• Experience with embedded operating systems (QNX, OSEK, Linux, Windows)
• Deep understanding of marine automation and diagnostic environments
• Strong problem-solving, development mindset, and communication skills
