Software Engineer (Hybrid Work Model)

Work closely with a collaborative engineering team to design, develop, test, and maintain the Publishing platform. Help shape the systems that power content distribution and information across Sentry and our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate actively with team members through design reviews, code reviews, architecture discussions, and scrum ceremonies.
• Design, develop, and implement new features and solutions for the Publishing platform with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and user experience.
• Mentor peers through thoughtful code reviews and technical discussions, sharing knowledge and design perspectives.
• Apply creativity and innovation in an agile development process to drive new solutions.
• Contribute in a full‑stack, cloud‑first development environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Java and related technologies.
• Experience making architectural and design choices.
• Ability to articulate design suggestions while considering various perspectives and collaborating on problem solving.
• Passion for code quality, thoughtful design, and continuous improvement.
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience; 3‑5 years preferred.
• Experience with Spring, SQL Server, Vue.js, RESTful APIs, and the AWS cloud platform.
