Your tasks and responsibilities

System Design: Create scalable and secure software architecture across front-end, back-end, and database layers.

Full Stack Coding: Build user interfaces and develop robust server-side logic, APIs, and databases, make use of AI-enabled SDLC tools.

Technical Guidance: Lead development teams, set coding standards, and review code for quality and performance.

Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, and requirements engineers to gather and analyze software requirements, documenting them in Confluence Model software requirements using Cameo Modelling or similar tool.

Design high-level software architectures, defining components, modules, and interfaces.

Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and design patterns (e.g., microservices, REST APIs).

Communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders, developers, and testers, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Identify technical risks in software design or implementation, logging them in Jira for tracking and resolution.

Collaborate with Verification, Validation, and Test (VVT) teams to ensure the architecture supports testable requirements.

Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortungsbereiche

• Systemdesign: Sie erstellen skalierbare und sichere Softwarearchitekturen, die Frontend, Backend und Datenbankebenen umfassen.
• Fullstack-Programmierung: Sie entwickeln Benutzeroberflächen sowie robuste Serverlogik, APIs und Datenbanken, mit Einsatz von KI SDLC tools.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Stakeholdern, Product Ownern und Anforderungsingenieuren zur Erhebung und Analyse von Softwareanforderungen; Dokumentation in Confluence.
• Modellierung von Softwareanforderungen mit Cameo Modelling oder ähnlichen Tools.
• Design von hochrangigen Softwarearchitekturen unter Definition von Komponenten, Modulen und Schnittstellen.
• Auswahl geeigneter Technologien, Frameworks und Entwurfsmuster (z. B. Microservices, REST-APIs).
• Kommunikation architektonischer Entscheidungen gegenüber Stakeholdern, Entwicklern und Testern zur Sicherstellung der Ausrichtung auf die Projektziele.
• Identifikation technischer Risiken im Softwaredesign oder bei der Implementierung und deren Erfassung in Jira zur Verfolgung und Lösung.
• Zusammenarbeit mit den Verifikations-, Validierungs- und Testteams (VVT), um sicherzustellen, dass die Architektur testbare Anforderungen unterstützt.

Desired skills and qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience as a Software Architect or similar role in software development, preferably in Agile or systems engineering environments.

Strong background in designing and implementing complex software systems, including microservices, cloud-based, or enterprise applications.

Knowledge of agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and SAFe would be beneficial.

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Strong organizational skills and self‑motivated work ethic.

Ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Flexible and adaptable to changing project demands.

Strong communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with defense industry standards and practices.

Defence or Automotive background knowledge.

Gesuchte Fähigkeiten und Qualifikationen

• Ausbildung: Bachelor- oder Masterabschluss in Systemtechnik (Systems Engineering) oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet.
• Erfahrung: Nachgewiesene Erfahrung als Softwarearchitekt oder in einer ähnlichen Rolle in der Softwareentwicklung, vorzugsweise in agilen Umgebungen oder im System Engineering.
• Umfassende Kenntnisse im Design und in der Implementierung komplexer Softwaresysteme, einschließlich Microservices, Cloud-basierter oder Enterprise-Anwendungen.
• Kenntnisse agiler Methodologien, insbesondere Scrum und SAFe, sind von Vorteil.
• Ausgeprägte Fähigkeiten in Entscheidungsfindung und Problemlösung.
• Starke Organisationstalent und hohes Maß an Selbstmotivation.
