Solutions Architect, Automotive and Manufacturing

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to strategic customers, shaping cloud architectures and guiding adoption in line with their business goals. You’ll work with automotive and manufacturing enterprises, translating requirements into scalable AWS-based solutions. You’ll contribute to AWS’s architecture best practices, share knowledge, and mentor teammates to strengthen the Solutions Architecture organization. • Build and nurture technical relationships with customers and serve as their trusted advisor
• Recommend best-practice architectures aligned with long-term business outcomes
• Contribute to AWS feature roadmaps by voicing customer needs
• Create and share best practices, reference architectures, white papers, code samples and blogs
• Educate customers through workshops, user groups, meetups, and public speaking
• Mentor teammates and participate in hiring decisions to grow the team
• Develop depth in technical domains relevant to customer outcomes
• Lead architecture reviews, whiteboarding sessions, demos and technical workshops

• Experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
• Fluent written and verbal English and German
• Preferred: experience in Automotive & Manufacturing industries, experience with AWS technologies, cloud migration/transformation of legacy solutions, customer-facing roles, public speaking, and enterprise application design using data, ML, and AI
