Solutions Architect - Travel, Transportation & Logistics - Amazon

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with enterprise customers in the travel, transportation, and logistics sectors to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable AWS cloud solutions.
• Architect end‑to‑end cloud infrastructures, selecting appropriate AWS services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Analytics, AI/ML) to meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and proof‑of‑concepts that demonstrate value and guide customers through migration and adoption roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Product, Security) to refine solution offerings and provide feedback on product enhancements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of AWS innovations and industry trends, proactively recommending best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and deploying complex AWS solutions in a professional services or consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost optimization principles.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and IAM.
• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect – Professional) preferred.
