Solutions Consultant 2

As a Solutions Consultant, you guide customers through their security transformation journey, translating business needs into technical designs and value realization with Palo Alto Networks. You will lead technical guidance across on-prem, cloud, and security operations, helping customers adopt the PANW Platform and realize impact from their investment. You’ll collaborate with services and success teams to ensure smooth implementation and measurable outcomes, while evangelizing PANW’s leadership in cybersecurity. This role blends technical leadership with customer-facing storytelling in a remote, cross-geography environment, offering meaningful impact at scale.

• Define strategic, technical account plans to meet and exceed sales quotas across cross-platform solutions
• Capture customer requirements and translate them into high-level designs across the PANW portfolio
• Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform and build strong client relationships
• Conduct discovery to articulate technical, operational, and commercial imperatives
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialists to ensure successful implementations
• Deliver clear, impactful presentations and workshops; conduct technical engagements and demos
• Lead technical validation efforts to secure technical wins
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to enable a one-team approach
• Promote end-to-end solutions including services for faster value realization
• Differentiate PANW in a competitive cybersecurity landscape
• Invest in ongoing technical and professional skill development and participate in the Solutions Consultant community
• Identify technical stakeholders and map a security-architecture transformation roadmap

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering
• Experience in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint or SASE
• Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and drive business initiatives
• Ability to influence and gain buy-in from stakeholders; pre-sales experience preferred
• Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements
• Experience selling/designing/implementing/managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies
• Experience partnering with Customer Support to ensure successful adoption
• Experience with complex multi-product, multi-stakeholder sales processes
• Willingness to travel for in-person customer meetings
• High level of German language skills; business English fluent
