As Sourcing Area Manager, you drive strategic and operational supplier engagement within Getinge's Sourcing & Purchasing function. You will collaborate with R&D, Quality Management, and other stakeholders to identify, qualify, and develop suppliers for MedTech projects. You will monitor supplier performance and optimize processes to enhance value and compliance. • Perform strategic and operational tasks within Supply Chain Management
• Identify, select, and qualify suppliers for R&D projects with cross-functional input
• Monitor supplier performance (costs, timelines, quality) within project portfolios
• Analyze and optimize supplier development processes
• Collaborate with Quality Management on KPIs and supplier performance improvements
• Develop and optimize the supplier portfolio with internal stakeholders
• Plan, implement, and monitor local and global improvement projects with evaluation of success

• Completed degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration with a technical focus or a comparable field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, ideally in international production or development environments with electrical or plastic components within medical technology or other regulated industries
• Preferred partial project management experience and cross-functional team experience
• Strong knowledge of supplier management, quality management, process management
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
• Fluent in German and English
• Located in greater Munich or surrounding area with on-site availability 2-3 days at the Aschheim-Dornach office
