As Engineer at Amazon Industrial Robotics, you will help define system architectures and roadmaps for next‑gen robotic systems that operate safely with humans at scale. You will collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to drive product design from concept to production, tackling complex mechatronics and control challenges. You’ll own multi-project delivery, influence design standards, and mentor peers while enabling smooth transitions from design to manufacturing. This role offers meaningful impact in shaping scalable robotic solutions and advancing automation at Amazon.

• Own the delivery of robotic products on time, within budget, and meeting performance targets
• Scope, manage, and deliver multiple technical projects in parallel from concept to production
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and vendors to ensure smooth production transition of design changes
• Write requirements, functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures
• Demonstrate thorough engineering analysis and model-based validation
• Mentor colleagues and promote best practices in system design and engineering process

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields
• 6+ years of experience fielding industrial robot systems
• Experience supporting engineering change control processes (Agile)
• Experience in mechanical design and management
• Familiar with CAD & FEA tools and design for manufacturability
• Experience with project management of technical projects
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in robotics design, automation systems development, control systems design or related product development
• Experience with Agile methods and processes
• Experience with mechatronic systems (preferred)
• Proven track record of developing products for large volume production (preferred)
