Sr. Regional Buyer - Indirect Sourcing

Our client is a multinational company global leader in the chemical sector, based in Hilden. They're currently looking for a Sr. Regional Buyer with ambition and potential to grow and develop within the company. Is that you?

Responsibilities

• Take on procurement projects in the area of Indirect Sourcing / NPR (Non-Product-Related)
• Handle procurement projects including requirements analysis, Tendering, Supplier management and Price and contract negotiations
• Develop procurement strategies within the scope of responsibility
• Responsible for the local implementation of global and regional procurement strategies and processes
• Conduct, evaluate, and present various analyses
• Lead or participate in procurement projects, e.g., supplier consolidation
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and locally implement global contracts in collaboration with the Regional Category Management
• Work closely with various departments and the Indirect Sourcing Manager within the DACH region as well as other international procurement departments

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Procurement, alternatively a commercial vocational training with additional qualification as a Certified Procurement Specialist (IHK) or equivalent
• Relevant professional experience in indirect procurement
• Well-established supplier network
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with Coupa is an advantage
• Fluent in German and English
• Native Romanian language valuable
