Your Responsibilities

• Operation, administration, and troubleshooting of server and client systems in Windows/Linux environments
• Operation and troubleshooting of related services (Active Directory, software distribution, antivirus protection, file storage, backup, and recovery)
• Operation, administration, and troubleshooting of the VMware infrastructure
• Operation, administration, and troubleshooting of storage systems with associated FC infrastructures
• Support for processes ensuring secure operations, including technical documentation and incident management

Your Qualifications

• Completed training as an IT Specialist in System Integration or an equivalent qualification
• Strong technical knowledge and practical experience with the setup and operation of client and server hardware
• Strong technical knowledge and practical experience with the Windows and Linux operating systems, ideally demonstrated by a certification
• Technical knowledge of network and storage technologies
• Willingness to acquire in-depth technical knowledge and to familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility
• Interest in the further development, sustainable operation, and troubleshooting of the systems under your care
• An understanding of IT security requirements in the context of critical infrastructure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as a high degree of personal responsibility
• Proficiency in English
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty
• Class B driver’s license
• Salary based on the collective bargaining agreement, Pay Grade 7 TV-V
