Staff Backend Engineer, SSCS: AI Governance (Fully Remote)

• Define and drive backend architecture for AI governance systems, including auditability, policy enforcement, and enterprise reporting.
• Design AI audit event systems with event schemas, data pipelines, storage strategies, retention models, and export capabilities.
• Build integration layers connecting AI agent platforms with governance controls for visibility and control.

Requirements:

• Strong experience designing and operating backend systems at scale, particularly in compliance, governance, auditability, or security.
• Deep understanding of authorization and access control, including RBAC, ABAC, and policy-as-code.
• Proven production experience with Ruby on Rails in SaaS environments and strong Python development for AI services.
