As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and managing our partner ecosystem, identifying and activating co-sell opportunities, and forging strategic alliances that accelerate our growth. You’ll operate as a cross-functional force multiplier across the business and help establish trusted, long-term partner relationships that create measurable impact.
Build and own heyData's partnership program : Design, launch, and continuously improve our referral and co-sell program. Includes partner tiers, incentive structures, onboarding flows, and enablement materials.
Identify, recruit, and nurture strategic partners : Source and qualify relevant partners, such as law firms, consulting firms, IT Auditors, and complementary SaaS providers. Subsequently turn them into long-term revenue contributors.
Drive partnership-sourced revenue : Own pipeline metrics, referral conversion rates, and partner-influenced ARR. Setting and hitting ambitious targets for partner-driven growth.
Lead cross-functional partnership execution : Collaborate tightly with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Legal to integrate partner activities into go-to-market motions and ensure partners are set up for success.
Explore and develop new partnership formats : Think beyond referrals, evaluate co-marketing campaigns, white-label opportunities, technology integrations, and strategic alliances that open new market segments or customer channels.
Build partner operations and reporting infrastructure : Implement the tooling, tracking, and processes needed to manage a scalable partner ecosystem, including CRM hygiene, partner portals, attribution, and performance dashboards.
Business development Initiatives : Step in on broader BD and strategic initiatives where needed. Evaluating market opportunities, supporting investor-relevant ecosystem relationships, or scoping new verticals.
B2B Saas Expertise & Partner Program Design : Deep understanding of the B2B SaaS landscape. Proven track record of building referral, reseller, or co-sell programs and leveraging them for growth.
Relationship Management & Negotiation : Strong ability to build and sustain trusted relationships with C-level and senior contacts at partner organizations over the long term. Confident in value-based selling and structuring win-win partnership agreements.
Strategic and Analytical Thinking : Comfortable with market mapping, partner prioritization frameworks, and tracking performance against revenue and pipeline KPIs.
Cross-functional collaboration : Able to communicate clearly and drive alignment in cross-functional Teams involving Sales, Marketing, Product, and Legal.
Startup Mindset and Ownership : High tolerance for ambiguity, proactive execution, and a genuine appetite to build from zero. Comfortable being the first person to fully own this function.
Communication & Fluency in German and English : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with full professional proficiency in both languages, are required to pitch value propositions and negotiate complex agreements in the DACH & EU Market.
