Supervisory Housing Management Specialist

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position

Serve as Housing Manager, Directorate of Public Works, supervise employees engaged in support of housing management programs: Housing Services Office, Unaccompanied Housing, Furnishings Management, Residential Communities Initiative, Privatized Army Lodging, and Army Family Housing

Specialized Experience

One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Leading government housing programs for an installation size organization or equivalent; 2) Developing government housing policies for an installation size organization or equivalent; AND 3) Leading a staff responsible for performing housing management work. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
