As a Supervisory Realty Specialist, Section Chief within the Office of Management Services, some of your specific duties will include: Advice and consult on real property federal regulations and space policies to include U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), General Services Administration (GSA) and Department of the Interior. Develop, execute and administer USGS leases and GSA Occupancy Agreements. Ensure USGS has properly forecasted for annual rent and construction costs entered in the Facilities Budget Activity (FBA) budget formulation. Serve as senior Leasing Contracting Officer (LCO) managing intermediate and large complex projects through the execution and administration of USGS and GSA lease acquisition and tenant improvement projects. Supervise the activities of the section through the work of professional staff, who provide facilities planning, acquisition, and administrative support to bureau science centers, managing all aspects of space acquisition, construction, and tenant improvement projects to include the full range of supervisory authorities and responsibilities related to position management, hiring, employee relations, equal employment opportunity, labor management relations and property.
