Supplier Quality Manager EMEA (m/f/d)

Overview
As the Supplier Quality Manager EMEA you will lead supplier and critical service provider quality activities across Europe, partnering closely with Purchasing to maintain and continuously improve the Q System and supplier‑related quality documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define quality objectives for suppliers and supplier management.
- Drive quality‑related activities in accordance with Power D3 linked to external suppliers (e.g., supplier releases via audits and PPAPs).
- Coordinate supplier audit plans and conduct audits at suppliers and service providers.
- Resolve supplier quality issues using appropriate problem‑solving methodologies; report on 8‑Ds and enforce containment and corrective actions.
- Support supplier risk analysis and evaluation (input, improvement, and execution).
- Assist Purchasing in supplier selection.
- Collaborate with Engineering on material specifications and identification of critical/significant characteristics.
- Drive supplier development processes.
- Report key process figures related to external suppliers and service providers.
- Develop and maintain procedures for supplier relationships linked to Quality and Corporate Social Responsibility.
- Maintain supplier relationships to ensure effective communication.
- Oversee the application, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all quality‑related documents required for external supplier management.
- Support the establishment of quality structures/processes to optimise interfaces and detect weak points, initiating improvement actions with a focus on supplier management.
- Maintain incoming goods inspection control plans and supporting supplier documents.
- Facilitate management quality reviews for suppliers not meeting quality objectives or expectations.
- Assist in fulfilling Corporate Social Responsibility requirements and related assessments in the supply chain.
- Manage Aftermarket Claims, driving resolutions with Clarios’ plants and DCs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain the Aftermarket claim handling process and report relevant KPIs to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an applied science discipline.
- Strong background in quality management systems.
- Minimum 6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in quality‑related activities in a development or production environment.
- Several years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Training in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 QMS standards.
- Strong knowledge of relevant VDA standards.
- Proficiency in quality management tools and techniques (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Planning, MSA, SPC, DOE).
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluent English language skills.
