Overview

As a Supply and Inventory Planner, you balance supply, inventory, capacity, and risk across test-systems and external manufacturing. You translate demand plans into feasible supply strategies, coordinating with cross-functional teams to secure service levels while optimizing cost and cash. You will monitor inventory health, trigger mitigation actions, and support S&OP and execution handover with a data-driven approach. This role offers impact by shaping supply plans in a multi-tier outsourced environment and driving continuous improvement.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Translate demand plans and priorities into feasible supply plans at test-system and options levels, balancing capacity, lead times, inventory, and logistics constraints
Define and review inventory targets, safety stock, buffer concepts, and inventory positioning aligned with demand, service, and cost objectives
Provide supply and inventory inputs for Supply Review and S&OP, including gaps, coverage, shortage risk, E&O exposure, and mitigations
Act as the planning interface between Demand & Supply Planning Lead, Supply Operations, S&OE, Logistics, Strategic Supplier Management, Product Sourcing, Data & Tools, and external manufacturers
Run risk, scenario, and mitigation planning to assess impacts on service, inventory, cost, and risk
Monitor inventory health across locations and coordinate mitigation to prevent excess/obsolescence
Support execution handover with constraints, shortages, expediting needs, and allocation proposals
Maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as feasibility, coverage, turns, E&O risk, and buffer effectiveness

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum 5+ years in supply planning, inventory planning, or related areas
Strong understanding of capacity constraints, lead times, safety stock, and inventory trade-offs
Experience with ERP/MRP and planning systems (Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar)
Experience with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and global supply networks
Cross-functional planning interface experience (S&OP, shortage management, handover)
Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills
Exposure to NPI/change control and lifecycle planning (phase-in/phase-out, last-time-buy, obsolescence)
Preferred: APICS / ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent
Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools and advanced Excel
