Job Description

The job responsibilities are structured in detail as follows:

Management of modern IT systems, troubleshooting and resolution of malfunctions;
Analysis and resolution of system errors during operation (L1 & L2 support);
Further development and implementation of the IT infrastructure;
Monitoring of the IT infrastructure, installation and independent commissioning of infrastructure systems as well as their documentation and preparation for operation;
Ensuring the operation of hardware and software applications, including manual and automatic updates;
User management for special applications, asset and infrastructure management: ensuring the current data inventory for the installed hardware, software, licenses and maintenance contracts; communication with customers and subcontractors regarding operational service aspects and incident management;

Qualifications

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

Master's / Diploma degree program in Computer Science / Business Informatics;
Professional IT experience with network servers and operating systems is desirable;
Knowledge of switching operation and configuration is required;
CCNA certifications are advantageous;
IT knowledge of Windows and Linux infrastructure is required;
Virtualization knowledge is advantageous;
Fluency in English & German is a must;
