YOUR TASKS

• You will be part of our IT infrastructure team and responsible for the operation, maintenance, and further development of the network and server landscape.
• The focus of your work will be on supporting the firewall systems and site-to-site VPN at national and international locations.
• You will assist with patch management for our server landscape.
• You will manage our LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructures at national and international locations.
• You will ensure the availability, performance, and security of the IT infrastructure.
• You will assist with the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects, rollouts, and migrations.
• You will analyze and resolve malfunctions and incidents in the network and server environment.
• You will work closely with other IT teams, external service providers, and specialist departments.
• You will document your activities and assist in ensuring compliance with IT security and compliance requirements.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have completed training or a degree in IT, computer science, or a comparable qualification and have practical experience in the administration of networks, servers, and IT infrastructures.
• You have in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN.
• Experience with Microsoft server operating systems, virtualization (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware), and cloud technologies is an advantage.
• Knowledge of IT security, monitoring, and backup solutions is desirable.
• Ideally, you have experience in an industrial environment.
• You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner and have strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good written and spoken German and English skills.
• You are willing to travel occasionally and participate in international projects as part of your work.
