FCAS2023 - System Engineer (d/m/f)
The department System Integration Rigs is responsible for the Avionics, Flight Control and Hydraulics test equipment used for Qualification and Certification of fighter aircraft systems. A System Engineer has responsibility for system/subsystem design in the area of test facility development.

Responsibilities
- Analyse client/customer requirements (specifications)
- Create system and subsystem concept and design, ensuring compliance with applicable norms and standards and existing product reference architecture
- Prepare technical requirements documentation (specifications) for approval by the client/customer
- Monitor downstream development and construction tasks to ensure interoperability and functionality
- Supervise production, including monitoring material procurement and supplier activities
- Manage system/subsystem integration and qualification monitoring, ensuring product safety compliance
- Assist in preparing offers and cost estimates and schedule planning
- Continuously improve and expand the product reference architecture based on new technologies
Qualifications
- Successfully completed studies in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar, or comparable training followed by several years of professional experience
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in requirements, change management and system design of aviation systems or test facilities
- Knowledge and experience in MBSE and system engineering tools such as DOORS, Cameo, Jira, 3DExperience Tool Suite, Capital
- Practical experience in system integration and conducting qualification, verification and validation tests (desirable)
- Knowledge of industry standards such as EN61010 / EN62368 and aviation standards such as EN9100, DO-178C, DO-330
- Very good communication skills in German and English (written and spoken)
