Systems Architect (m/f/d) - Mechanical, Thermal & Propulsion

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of experts (Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Thermal, Propulsion) in the development, realization, and verification of satellite projects
• Ensure schedule, cost, and performance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle using project management methods and tools, including resource, change, and cost management
• Perform requirement flow-down to subsystem specifications and prepare subsystem documentation
• Manage interfaces between the different subsystems within the MTP domain as well as with project teams, customers, and external stakeholders
• Support system-level reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, QAR, etc.) including preparation of the corresponding technical documentation
• Support equipment reviews across all project phases
• Support major project campaigns including EVT, launch preparation, and LEOP activities

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in satellite development and/or Mechanical, Thermal, or Propulsion subsystems
• Ability to work autonomously and drive technical topics to closure
• Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication and interface management skills in multidisciplinary environments
• Experience coordinating technical activities across engineering teams is considered beneficil
• Professional proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus
