Systems Engineering Manager – Public Sector

In this role you lead a Manager and a team of Systems Engineers for the Public District, partnering with Sales leadership to drive excellence. You address client challenges, plan for future market demands, and align cross-functional initiatives across the Pre-Sales team. You act as an escalation point for pre- and post-sales issues, shaping security solutions for public sector customers. This position offers the opportunity to influence security strategy and growth within a global leader in cybersecurity.

• Lead a team of security experts from senior consultants to product specialists
• Recruit and develop top talent in the industry
• Collaborate with District Sales Director and Sales Leadership to drive sales excellence
• Build and maintain relationships with public sector customers, prospects, and partners at senior levels
• Understand client challenges and qualify opportunities effectively
• Anticipate future market demands and identify high-growth engines
• Coordinate with German and DACH Pre-Sales Management to align initiatives
• Serve as escalation point for pre- and post-sales technical issues

• Minimum 2 years as first line Systems Engineering Manager
• Deep knowledge of cyber security market trends (e.g., SASE, ZTNA, SecOps)
• Ability to map cyber security solutions to business requirements
• Strong blend of management, technical, and business skills
• Excellent presentation skills to C-Level and individual contributors
• Fluent in German and English; strong written and verbal communication
• Well-connected network to Public sector contacts in the region
• Self-motivated, independent thinker capable of advancing complex projects through the sales cycle
