Tax Manager, Individual Taxation - CPA or EA, CPA firm experience required

Position Overview

Individual Tax Manager – Wheeler Accountants LLP. Provide tax, attestation, consulting, and client accounting services to a range of clients.

Responsibilities

• Direct client contact; keep clients satisfied throughout engagements
• Manage projects and deadlines; maintain open communication with team members
• Mentor and train senior and staff accountants
• Provide technical tax expertise and maintain a big‑picture view of client needs

Qualifications

• CPA or EA license required
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting (preferred); Master’s degree in Taxation a plus
• Minimum 6 years of individual tax experience in a public accounting firm
• Experience with estate & trust (plus)
• Strong technical competence, confidence, and proven work ethic
• Ability to grow within a firm undergoing significant transition
