We are currently working on behalf of the internal IT service provider for an international financial-services group, renowned for its global market presence and commitment to delivering cutting-edge digital infrastructure across its international entities.
At the moment, we are looking for top performers to lead the Collaboration function for this business, overseeing an international team. Ideally, someone who would take ownership of this critical function and drive the ongoing technological advancement of their cloud and workplace environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Taking full disciplinary, organisational, and technical leadership responsibility for the Collaboration team, steering performance, hiring, and talent development.
- Spearheading the further development, governance, and seamless integration of their Microsoft system landscape (M365, Azure, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID) to build a future‑proof, secure, and highly scalable IT infrastructure.
- Initiating, leading, and actively contributing to crucial digitization projects, with a strong current focus on enterprise AI integration via Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio rollouts.
- Working hand‑in‑hand with the Director Service and external partners, managing SaaS contracts, vendor relations, and aligning with the Group CISO and DPO for security and GDPR compliance.
- Taking ownership of budget planning, cost control, and optimization for the team's tools and licensing, ensuring the department operates with maximum economic efficiency.
You will have a significant impact on the business by defining and improving the existing and future collaboration infrastructure.
Inspiring the team to grow more self‑organised, setting up technical roadmaps, and supporting the business in developing the overall modern workplace strategy.
The basic requirements are as follows:
- Strong track record of disciplinary people leadership (line management) & coaching qualities in a digital environment, with at least 2+ years of formal line management experience, including hiring and performance management.
- Know how to shape an operations or collaboration department on a cultural, practice, and process level.
- Deep knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Azure, Power Platform), along with a strong track record in the design, administration, and ongoing development of robust IT infrastructures and cloud applications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels, including effective collaboration with international entities, internal business units, and external service providers.
- Fluent English required; German language skills are a strong plus.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, secure, and regulated environment.
Our offer:
- Permanent employment basis, hybrid working model requiring 3 days per week on‑site. HQ is located in Hamburg.

- Salary Range - 90,000 - 100,000 EUR base (depending on experience) + bonus + benefits
