Team Lead (m/f/d) Radiation and Charging

Your Tasks

• Lead,manage, and develop the Radiation & Charging team, fostering ahigh-performing, collaborative, and innovation-driven work environment
• Contributedirectly to space projects while supporting the preparation of technicalproposals, concepts, and effort estimations in the field of Radiation &Charging
• Ensure thesuccessful execution of all team activities with respect to quality, cost, andschedule
• Overseeteam resource and capacity planning
• Driverecruitment, onboarding, and talent development activities in closecollaboration with Department Management and Human Resources
• Providetechnical guidance and expert support to team members on complex engineeringchallenges while promoting cross-project knowledge sharing and collaboration
• Lead thecontinuous improvement of team processes, methods, and tools, ensuringcompliance with company standards and project requirements

Your Qualifications

• Universitydegree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Space SystemsEngineering, or a comparable technical/scientific discipline; alternatively, anequivalent qualification combined with relevant professional experience
• Severalyears of professional experience in the space industry, ideally with a focus onRadiation Effects, Space Environment Engineering, Spacecraft Charging, orsatellite development
• Strongtechnical and methodological expertise within the relevant field, includingexperience in solving complex engineering challenges and contributing todemanding projects
• Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, combined with strong collaboration,problem-solving capabilities, analytical thinking, and a creative, innovativemindset
• High levelof empathy, integrity, and assertiveness, with the ability to motivate,develop, and coach team members while effectively transferring knowledge
• Provenleadership capabilities, including decision-making skills, accountability, andthe ability to successfully lead and develop technical teams
• Strongbusiness acumen with a strategic mindset, results orientation, cost awareness,and the ability to maintain a broader organizational perspective
• Goodunderstanding of products, technologies, customer requirements, and emergingtrends within the space industry
• Fluent English language skills, both written andspoken; German language skills are considered an advantage
