Team Lead QC Microbiology

I’m currently working on an exciting Team Lead Microbiology opportunity, with a large molecule CDMO based in Berlin. This is a great role for someone who enjoys being hands-on, leading a team and having the opportunity to build and shape a team from the start.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and develop the microbiology QC team
• Oversee day-to-day GMP QC activities
• Manage microbiological method validation and verification
• Review SOPs, protocols and reports
• Handle deviations, OOX investigations and audits
• Work closely with international customers and partners
• Help improve processes and establish laboratory standards

What they’re looking for:

• Degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology or similar
• 2+ years' experience within a GMP microbiology/QC environment
• Previous team leadership experience is advantageous but not necessary
• Strong knowledge of microbiological testing and GMP
• Experience with deviations/OOX
• Fluent German and English is a must
