Team Leader Procurement (m/f/d)

To strengthen and lead our purchasing team, we are looking for a dynamic and outgoing individual with extensive experience in procurement.

For over 35 years, imc Test & Measurement GmbH has been developing, manufacturing, and distributing productive measurement and test systems for research, development, service, and production. Location: Berlin | Department: Procurement

• You report to the VP of Operations
• As Team Leader Procurement, you are responsible for people and processes in procurement
• Playing a significant role in design for manufacturing in collaboration with R&D and outsourcing of non-core processes
• Participating in the daily operations with the main goal of securing raw materials and subassemblies for the production's daily operations with as few shortages as possible
• Being responsible for strategic topics in procurement like contacting suppliers and drawing up framework agreements, as well as creating a trusting relationship with all external and internal partners
• You are helping develop the department and make your own mark on the Supply Chain function and thus your own job
• At imc you will have a versatile position with responsibility for a wide range of tasks within Procurement. Among other things, you will work with purchasing planning, follow-up, supplier screening, inventory management and deviation management

Your profile:

• A diploma or master degree in business administration or a related field is required
• Experience from a similar position where you have dealt with a broad spectrum of tasks within strategic procurement and know the importance of a trusting supplier relationship
• Experience from an electronics company, as well as strategic procurement and/or project procurement would be an advantage
• We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytically strong and works in a structured way
• You enjoy working across the organization and take pride in always delivering a high level of service. You will have a versatile position that places great demands on your adaptability and your ability to keep many balls in the air at the same time
• Strong communications skills, problem solving skills, work in a team and dealing with changes are necessary
