Team Manager Finance Global Services, Operations and Reporting

In this role you drive liaison between Finance, IT and international stakeholders to support group-wide financial solutions. You lead system planning and changes in the record-to-report area and contribute to IT-enabled improvements in order-to-cash processes. You manage projects, identify automation opportunities, and oversee incidents and problems at 2nd/3rd level. You guide a small team and help shape digital transformation within the insurance domain, creating measurable impact across finance operations.

• Act as key liaison between Finance, IT and international stakeholders for group-wide financial solutions
• Provide advice on IT-system planning and requirements for record-to-report and order-to-cash areas
• Analyze and implement system changes
• Participate in projects as team member or project manager
• Identify standardisation and automation opportunities and implement them
• Estimate costs for change requests
• Oversee 2nd and 3rd level support for incidents and problems
• Provide technical and managerial leadership for seven employees
• Support the line manager in developing the department and driving digital transformation in insurance

• Several years of senior experience with line or cross-functional management in a finance-related field
• Proven track record of successful project delivery, ideally as project manager
• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, (Business) Information Technology or Mathematics, or comparable qualification
• In-depth knowledge of financial processes and relevant IT systems
• Knowledge of IFRS 17, Solvency II or HGB is welcome
• Experience with group consolidation systems
• Confident and engaging with internal and external stakeholders

• Business fluency in German and conversational English
• Willingness to travel 3–4 times per year for about one week each time
