Overview

Technical Advisor role at Enverus, supporting clients in the energy sector with technical guidance and demonstrations of our platform in pre-sales engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discussions and presentations during client-facing meetings, focusing on the client/prospect needs and engaging at all levels of an organization.
  • Advise Enverus sales teams and clients on offerings that will have the most impact on their business.
  • Present effectively in settings ranging from one-on-one with the C-suite to large groups across business segments (E&P, oil field services, capital markets, mineral owners, etc.).
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Enverus’ various solution sets.
  • Develop domain expertise in additional disciplines.
  • Aid teams including Business Development and Marketing with technical guidance on messaging and content for conferences and webinars.
  • Attain individual and corporate goals focused on the growth of annual recurring revenue.
  • Support sales growth targets by proactively engaging with Account Directors and Account Executives to identify whitespace within existing accounts and new business opportunities.

Competitive Candidate Profile

  • Preferred engineering, geology or geophysics background with additional experience in A&D or BD.
  • Understand the fundamentals of economic analysis and the Exploration and Production (E&P) industry.
  • Highly computer literate with advanced skills in Microsoft Product Suite, Spotfire, GIS, etc.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in crafting effective AI prompts to generate accurate, context-aware outputs across various tools and workflows.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, task-oriented, with a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple functional and geographical groups across multiple time zones.
  • Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
  • Relishes teamwork and embraces constructive feedback as part of the learning process.

Education Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree (STEM), preferably Geology or Geophysics; required.
  • Master’s preferred.

Required Skills

  • 5-10 years of upstream Exploration and Production experience.
  • Experience with Enverus tools including Prism, WebApp, etc.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Adapt to change quickly with the ability to implement new solution sets effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with teams outside of the Technical Advisors to solve a client’s need.
  • Up-to-date in M&A activity across the upstream sector.

Travel & Physical Demands

  • Travel: 20-30%.
  • Physical demands: sit for long periods, work on a computer, and use standard office equipment.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Travel requirements – up to 30% or as needed for company needs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • This role is eligible for: Variable Compensation.
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - 95,000 + bonus.
