Role Overview

Technical Co-Founder & CTO – Hamburg (Hybrid / In-person preferred). Compensation: Co-Founder Equity (Pre-Seed).

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the MVP and architect the Data & Inference Engine to build an intelligent, context‑aware engine that parses and synthesises high volumes of data and literature.
Implement the "Glass Box" Standard to ensure algorithmic decision‑making is 100% interpretable and auditable, in line with the EU AI Act requirements.
Architect a cloud infrastructure and data pipelines that strictly adhere to German health regulations, GDPR, and the security thresholds required by global enterprise and medical partners.
Transition from hands‑on MVP architecture to building an engineering team and defining technical requirements for future iOS/Android apps.
Build an engineering culture that fosters responsibility, transparency, and business value.

Qualifications

5+ years of senior engineering experience, with a proven track record of taking a software product from concept to a live, scaled production environment.
Previous founder or early‑startup engineering leadership experience is highly preferred.
Hands‑on experience building AI agents, especially with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), multiple knowledge bases, and OCR integration.
Deep sensitivity to data privacy, encryption, and handling of health data.
Strong discipline, structure, foresight, and a sense of responsibility.
Proficiency in German and English.
Strategic mindset, low ego, operating with integrity and transparency.
