Technical Consultant – Patient Monitoring

Responsibilities

• Deliver onsite and remote technical support, responding quickly to customer issues
• Ensure reliable system performance by diagnosing and resolving system, network, and application issues
• Support the full lifecycle of complex patient monitoring and IT infrastructure solutions
• Apply understanding of customer environments and requirements for effective and optimized systems implementation
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges using approved tools and diagnostic methodologies
• Analyze root causes and implement sustainable solutions
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and troubleshooting activities
• Follow configuration management practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality outcomes
• Continuously build technical expertise and contribute to improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 2.5+ years of professional working experience in IT services or related technical environments
• Experience with patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators highly preferred
• Foundational understanding of IT systems, networking concepts, and technical troubleshooting
• Computer networking certification preferred (e.g. CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
• Associate degree in computer science, biomedical, engineering, or related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and above-listed experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to travel approximately 75% across specified geography
