This position takes responsibility for the technical completion of a property visit before a heat-pump project moves into its next planning and installation stages. It combines on-site inspection, measurement capture, feasibility assessment and customer consultation. The representative is expected to turn observations at the home into precise, documented information that central planning teams can use with confidence.

The role is customer-facing without losing its engineering discipline. Final choices about positioning, routing and electrical infrastructure are discussed at the property, then considered with the planning teams. Strong judgement matters because the representative must balance what a customer needs to understand with what the site can technically support, maintaining a careful record throughout.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed technical assessments of existing properties, collecting measurements and project data for heat-pump and photovoltaic work.
• Advise customers on final technical decisions, including equipment placement, line routes and the meter cabinet, in coordination with central planning teams.
• Validate the technical feasibility of the planned solution during the property visit.
• Take responsibility for technically sound on‑site completion through precise documentation and a focus on customer confidence.
• Conduct accurate property capture, including two-dimensional and three-dimensional measurement work.
• Document findings completely in real time to protect data quality across the installation process.
• Follow the employer’s standard operating procedures to support consistently high planning quality.

Qualifications

• Very good German-language ability at a minimum C1 level, as needed for customer consultation.
• A detailed, careful and structured working style supported by technical understanding and confidence with data.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexibly throughout the assigned area.
• Comfort and enjoyment in direct contact with private customers.
• Preferred: a combination of practical trade experience, a sales-oriented mindset and excellent customer service.
• Confident and engaging communication when presenting technical matters to customers.

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to gather technically relevant property data and make accurate two-dimensional and three-dimensional measurements.
• Sound technical judgement when assessing feasibility, equipment positioning, line routing and meter-cabinet considerations.
• Clear German communication for consultations about final technical decisions.
• Strong analytical organisation and attention to detail when maintaining project records.
• Secure use of software, particularly CRM systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office or comparable documentation software.
• A customer-oriented approach that remains practical and technically precise during home visits.
