Technical Product Owner - Energy Trading Valuation Platform (f/m/d)

As Technical Product Owner, you lead the evolution of a strategic valuation platform for energy trading activities. You shape the product vision and roadmap, aligning with traders, quants, and engineers to deliver scalable valuation capabilities. You balance business value with technical sustainability, while steering AI-native engineering practices. This role sits at the intersection of energy trading, quantitative modeling, and software engineering, driving robust, measurable impact.

• Define and evolve the product vision, roadmap, and priorities with stakeholders
• Translate trading, risk, and quantitative needs into scalable platform capabilities
• Drive decisions balancing business value, sustainability, and platform evolution
• Maintain transparency on progress, risks, dependencies, and architecture direction
• Own technical decisions and end-to-end solution design and evolution
• Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, maintainability, security, and observability
• Guide Python-based platform evolution, libraries, APIs, and Dagster workflows
• Prioritize backlog and ensure delivery readiness and quality of new capabilities
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery across trading, market data, risk, and consuming systems
• Interface with traders, quants, engineers, and risk stakeholders to align requirements
• Foster cross-team alignment and challenge architecture and implementation constructively
• Adopt AI-native development practices, including spec-driven development and human-in-the-loop workflows

• 8+ years of professional software/technical experience
• Experience owning complex technical products, platforms, or services
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
• Hands-on Python-based systems experience in quantitative or data-intensive environments
• Experience translating business requirements into technical capabilities and leading agile delivery
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and decision-making skills
• Preferred: Dagster or similar workflow orchestration, energy/commodity/financial trading exposure
• Preferred: cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, testing, observability
• Preferred: AI-assisted development and coding agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex)
