Technical Project Manager (m/w/d) - Remote / Hybrid in Germany

Innovo PH Engineering Services is part of the Innovo Renewables Group and specializes in high-value technical services for utility-scale solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and grid substations. We support clients across Europe - from concept to commissioning - with deep technical expertise and strategic insight.

We’re growing - and we’re looking for a Technical Project Manager who will handle utility-scale PV plant projects with clear coordination, reliable execution, and strong stakeholder alignment. You keep timelines, budgets, and quality on track to turn PV plants into successful constructions.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and manage project construction;
• Oversee the technical and performance aspects of plants validating performance of the new plants, contractors’ obligations and product/contract guarantees, optimizing PV plant performance and minimizing risks and failures;
• Managing multiple projects concurrently;
• Overview and approve construction punch lists;
• Receive and check reports from all contractors and provide to the project sponsor/client with the needed information about construction progress and plant performance;
• Ongoing management of product warranties and insurance claims when required;
• Follow up on Health, Safety and Environment regulations;
• Handle QA/QC procedures, checking EPC contractors works;
• Trigger on demand activities if not included in the EPC contract;
• Interact with the Technical Advisors of the lenders (or of the client);
• Supervise Engineering of the new plants addressing issues or finding internal resources to address them;
• Evaluation of EPC and O&M suppliers from technical point of view;
• Handle other processes or interfaces with the purpose to achieve COD (grid operator, etc).

What You Bring

• Technical background, ideally in electrical engineering;
• Experience as a project engineer/project manager in the field of PV systems;
• At least 5 years of experience in the implementation of PV projects (>1MWp);
• High level of execution quality;
• Experience in tendering and negotiation;
• Good communication skills (fluent in English and German);
• Ability to problem solve both personnel issues and project issues;
• Good record keeping and organizational skills;
• Ability to travel regionally, depending on project location.
