Position

Technical Sales Intern , reporting to the VP of Sales, supports internal and external sales teams by updating sales records, conducting market research, and collaborating cross‑functionally to help reach HandyTube’s goals.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Safety as the Number One Priority of all HandyTube employees
  • Drive a culture that educates and promotes quality processes and responsibilities for all
  • Perform market analysis to identify new customers, applications, and market trends
  • Update sales records, presentations, spreadsheets, and charts
  • Assist with preparing presentations, PowerPoint documents, and other materials for customers
  • Participate in trainings, business meetings, and networking opportunities
  • Make suggestions and improvements to the sales process
  • Perform other duties as requested

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, engineering, or a similar field
  • College junior or senior
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong, creative critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Analytical skills – capable of designing experiments, data collection, analysis, and interpretation
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and willingness to learn
  • Physical ability to use hands to manipulate objects and tools, reach with hands and arms, and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Knowledge and/or ability to learn to operate measurement equipment
  • Willingness to spend time on the manufacturing floor and have a hands‑on approach
  • Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time‑management skills
  • Less than 15% travel may be required
  • Must work a minimum of 20 hours a week for a 10‑week internship program
