Our client is an internationally active company specializing in piping systems and plastic valves for the chemical industry. Due to stable growth in Europe, we are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join the team as soon as possible, focusing on large-scale projects and project-based business.

Responsibilities

• Establish and expand customer relationships with plant engineering companies, EPC firms, and engineering consultancies across Europe (focus: Germany and Spain)
• Review and process tenders (RFQs), prepare quotations, and participate in contract award processes
• Present and provide technical advice on plastic valve solutions for corrosive applications
• Attend conferences, deliver presentations, and participate in site visits
• Work closely with the headquarters in Japan and the local team
• Manage projects and support the implementation of awarded projects

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in technical sales, e.g. as Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales, Field Sales, etc., ideally in piping systems or valves
• Proven experience in project business or plant engineering (EPC experience is a plus)
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
• German or Spanish language skills are an advantage
• Experience working with international customers and engineering consultancies
• Independent, communicative personality with high willingness to travel (approx. 40-50%)
