Technical SEO Lead (f/m/d)

As Technical SEO Lead at AutoScout24 Group, you drive the technical SEO strategy for Europe’s leading digital car marketplace. You shape standards across crawlability, indexing and performance while coordinating with Product and Engineering to deliver scalable solutions across markets. You’ll leverage AI-powered workflows to accelerate optimization and experimentation, ultimately boosting organic growth and product-driven impact. This role offers hands-on leadership in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a clear path to influence multi-market SEO outcomes.

• Own and prioritize the Technical SEO roadmap based on impact, effort and business value
• Define Technical SEO standards across Crawlability, Indexability, Internal Linking, Structured Data and Core Web Vitals
• Partner with Product and Engineering to deliver scalable technical solutions
• Evaluate trade-offs between SEO, UX and engineering effort
• Provide technical leadership, reviews and guidance for the Technical SEO team
• Drive experimentation, monitoring and continuous improvement

• 5+ years of experience in Technical SEO for large websites, platforms or marketplaces
• Deep expertise in JavaScript SEO, Technical SEO architecture, Core Web Vitals and Technical SEO best practices
• Experience working with Product, Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong prioritization, stakeholder management and data-driven decision-making skills
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, SEMrush, SISTRIX,Screaming Frog, GA4, BigQuery or similar tools
• Experience using AI-powered tools to improve technical SEO workflows
• Fluent in English
